And again as noted, it didn’t end there. Wave after wave of Italy attack ended with the name Winston Reid repeated by the commentators. Wave after wave of Paraguayian attacks the same.

And as you can watch here, he is humble tin victory, but as you can see in the above video, delighted to score for a country he was accused of being a mercenary by choosing.

And so we profile him here, 21 year old FC MIdtjylland central defender Winston Reid, creating heroism for the Danish Superliga at the World Cup.

Winston Reid, we salute you.

Marco Verratti new wallpapers

Marco Verratti is one of the most talented 16 year olds to ever step foot onto a first team pitch. Verratti has been touted as the next Francisco Totti due to his outstanding agility and fantastic first touches. Marco Verratti has been at Pescara Calcio all his life and was with them when they reached Serie B where he was 14, being the youngest player in any of the teams in Serie B, despite getting no football that season, Pescara got relegated to Serie C1/B which is the Italian Third Division where they have been since 2006/2007. In the 2008/2009 season Marco Verratti made 7 appearances for the Italian club, scoring no goals that season. This season (2009/2010) Verratti has made 1 appearance for Pescara in which he scored a superb goal from the corner of the area in a 3-2 win against Sangiustese. Marco Verratti has a contract in which expires in 2012, but Pescara has consisted in selling the young lad to overcome financial depths. It is reported that West Ham, Inter, Lazio, Roma and many other clubs are interested in capturing Marco's signature. In our favourite game Football Manager 2010, Marco is a fantastic prospect for the future. With him already having better stats than 25 year olds and only being a 16 year old, you can tell he has great current ability and a promising potential ability. Marco is a player who is believe to have potential to be better than Francesco Totti. Marco has some fantastic Technical Attributes in the game, but his speciality is his set-pieces. If you are looking for a good Free-Kick Taker, Penalty Taker & Corner Taker, than Marco is your man. Verratti also has a fantastic technique and brilliant flair. One of Marco's problem's is his Aggression, unfortunately it is too often when aggression comes to his mind, so you might see several bans per season for Verratti. For the asking price on Pescara's hands, it is very low, much lower than most clubs would ask. For the 310,000 asking price you could not get a better player than him. I would recommend Marco to any team's in the higher ranks of a country. He will join most teams which offer a fair bit of money. If you want to sign him on a free you will have to wait until 2012, in which his contract expires, but somebody might have signed him by than. Marco Verratti has a fantastic Potential Ability of -9 which could vary on your game.

Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar is a doubt for the Serie A leaders' Champions League clash with Chelsea after suffering minor injuries in a car accident, reports claim.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian suffered bruising to his face following the incident, which happened when Cesar was driving his Lamborghini near the San Siro.

Although he was not seriously hurt, the 30-year-old missed training on Monday in order to rest.

While the club have moved to ease concerns, the incident calls into question Cesar's involvement at the San Siro on Wednesday as Jose Mourinho faces his former club for the first time since his acrimonious exit from Chelsea in September 2007.

Gennaro Gattuso top player of football

Early career

Gattuso started his career with Italian Perugia, but transferred in July 1997, at the age of 19, to the Scottish team Rangers.

Walter Smith, who brought Gattuso to Glasgow, left the club in 1998. Smith's successor, Dick Advocaat, did not favour Gattuso and, after being played out-of-position as a right-back, the Italian was sold in October 1998 to then recently promoted Serie A club Salernitana for £4 million. Despite his good performances, it was not enough to prevent the relegation of his side.
[edit] Milan

Milan signed Gattuso for £8 million in 1999. His style allowed Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti to place midfielder Andrea Pirlo in a more attacking position. Gattuso plays deeper in midfield. He will often move forward to win the ball for the forward players and then return to his defensive position. His style of play is characterised by fierce tackling and hard work — a style which has earned him the nickname of Ringhio (Growl). He signed a contract extension in June 2003[1] and in October 2004.[2]

In a UEFA Champions League group stage match against Ajax in September 2003, he was sent off during second-half injury time after slapping Ajax striker Zlatan Ibrahimović in the face with the back of his hand. His temper has caused him further problems when in December 2005, at the final whistle of Milan's 3–2 defeat of Schalke 04 in the UEFA Champions League, Gattuso was seen seeking out and taunting Schalke's midfielder Christian Poulsen[3] as a reaction to Poulsen's fierce marking of Kaká in the first leg. Gattuso insisted though that the press exaggerated the significance of the incident.

He played his 300th game for the club in a goalless Champions League draw against Lille on 26 September 2006, and he extended his current deal with Milan until 2011 on 1 February 2007.[4] On 23 May 2007, Gattuso won the Champions League for the second time in his career when Milan beat Liverpool 2–1 in the final.

On 27 December 2007, Gattuso trained with his former club Rangers to regain fitness during the Serie A winter break whilst his wife was visiting family in Scotland over Christmas.[5] The following December, Gattuso suffered a torn Anterior cruciate ligament early on in the 1–0 league win against Catania. However, despite the injury, Gattuso played the entire 90 minutes before being diagnosed by the club doctors after the match. He underwent surgery to repair the damage on 19 December 2008, in Antwerp. He was expected to miss up to 6 months of action, but managed to return to the Milan bench on 10 May against Juventus, a month ahead of schedule.

There was much speculation that Gattuso would leave Milan during the European winter transfer window to pursue his career elsewhere,[citation needed] however it was confirmed by AC Milan on the 14 December 2009 that Gattuso would remain a Milan player until 30 June 2012, after adding one more year to his current contract.[6]

Gennaro Ivan "Rino" Gattuso (born 9 January 1978) is an Italian footballer who plays for Serie A club Milan. He mainly plays as a defensive midfielder. Gattuso is a hard tackling player and widely regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in his prime. During his career at Milan, he has won the Champions League, in 2002–03 and 2006–07, and also the Serie A title in 2003–04. He also had a key role in his national team's World Cup victory in 2006.
International career

Gattuso has been capped seventy three times for his country and played in the 2000 Summer Olympics, the 2002 World Cup, Euro 2004, the 2006 World Cup, Euro 2008, the 2009 Confederations Cup and the 2010 World Cup.

He was one of the key players in Itay's World Cup-winning team, winning the Man of the Match award in the 2006 FIFA World Cup knockout stage match against Ukraine. He and Pirlo formed a formidable partnership in the heart of midfield. Gattuso achieved a measure of notoriety for his post-match celebrations after Italy won the World Cup, during which he removed his shorts and ran around the pitch in his underwear, until FIFA officials forced him to cover up.

In the Euro 2008, when both of them had to miss the quarterfinal match against Spain due to accumulated yellow cards, coach Donadoni had a hard time finding replacements as none of the reserve players could match the lung-bursting contribution of the Milan duo. Italy went on to lose 4–2 in the ensuing penalty shoot-out. He recently announced that he would retire from international duty after the 2010 World Cup, but would play in the Summer Classic. On 8-6-10 vs Panathinikos FC in Pontiac, Michigan, Gattuso made a crowd roaring action, while getting subbed off, he gave his signature arm band to Zambrotta, and he wore it until the end of penaltys. AC Milan went on to win 5-3.

Top 10 Hottest Women's Tennis Players wallpapers

Even if you don't like tennis, I'm suggesting you'll enjoy The French Open.

Hot and dirty young women sweating and grunting and playing with fuzzy balls. What's not to like lust?

Even though Anna Kournikova has bagged her beautiful raquets, there's plenty to look at in the women's game on the clay at Roland Garros. Come for the vixens. Stay for the volleys.
